Litty’s Larder is an artisan bakery business, run from my home kitchen in East Lothian, making everything from scratch, in a sustainable way. Using a mix of seasonal, local, foraged, ethical, organic and naturally grown, flavoured and coloured ingredients, to create unique bespoke cakes and bakes for folk in the East Lothian and Edinburgh area.
I draw inspiration for the visuals and taste of the bakes I design, from the natural world, the seasons, memories, the occasion, mood, the persons the bake is for and the landscape of the event too, to produce beautifully tasting, and looking, pieces of edible art. I want my bakes to hit all the senses, and be part of a memorable experience for folk, whatever the occasion. That’s what I set out to achieve with every single bake I make.
I bake for a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 80 people, for both adults and kids. I can offer individual celebration cakes, as well as range of smaller individual sweet treats too. Baking for a range of occasions, including birthdays, weddings, elopements, family get togethers, business launches, photoshoots, as well as for pop up events, food festivals and workshops too. And I am always happy to explore baking for any other fun and thinking-outside-the-box ideas as well!
